The National Cattle Mobility Event is a registered charity, which aims to improve the health and welfare of cattle by reducing the incidence of lameness. This aim is achieved by educating farmers, veterinary surgeons, cattle foot trimmers and allied professions in all aspects of hoof care.

The fourth annual National Cattle Mobility Event took place at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester on Wednesday, 6th April 2011, with keynote lectures form Neil Chesterton, renowned New Zealand dairy vet and Dr Nick Bell, from the Royal Veterinary College. In the afternoon, practical sessions were held at a nearby commercial dairy farm, by kind permission of Kemble Farms Ltd.
